Hello Everyone...

Just a little update about what has been going on in Melissa's world!!!! Well, this upcoming Fourth of July my friend is going to be getting married; so,I've been frantically trying to find something to wear. Yes, I guess waiting to the last minute is one of my biggest downfalls but, some how it always seems to work out just fine! Finally this past week I found a dress online and a good friend is going to fix it a little for me so it will fit the way I want it to. I'm so excited for the wedding; it is going to be such a blast. It's been a while since we've had a wedding around here, I LOVE them!!!! Also, this upcoming weekend I will be going to the Gettysburg Reenactment with some of my good friends. There will certainly be lots of stories and pictures from that when I get back next Monday!! I'm so excited, we will be dressing up and I haven't had the chance to do that in a LONG time. The weather here in Long Island has been just beautiful. Summer has definitely arrived and we've been enjoying some VERY HOT summer days. Along with that hot weather has come some pretty tremendous storms, which I personally love! I've been really busy finishing up the rest of my papers for school and will be coming to the end of my first year this week. I'm very excited, it's been a LONG couple of months! Well, that's about all that has been going on around here. I'll be sure to get lots of pics of the wedding and my trip and will post tons of pictures next week. But, until then I'm afraid blogging will have to take a break. I'll see you all next week... :)

I had a really fun weekend. Not only was yesterday a wonderful Father's Day but, Saturday was my brother's All Star Game at Duck Stadium!!! We had such a fun time cheering him on. He played terrific and was given the trophy for M.V.P of his team.

I just bought her yesterday; she is about 9 weeks old and I just fell in love. She is a Corgi and is such a sweetheart. When she falls into a deep sleep she sleeps upside down!!! I think it runs in her bloodline because all her brothers and sisters did the same thing!!! :) I'll post a picture of it soon, it's really funny.
