A Sunday Surprise!

This past Sunday our family was visited by a surprise guest. Let me back up and tell you what happened. My big dog Riley was outside enjoying the beautiful, chilly weather of winter when a realized that I had forgotten to let him in. Surprisingly, he was not barking his head off though! As I went to open the sliding glass doors I nearly jumped out of my skin when I noticed this little shivering visitor staring up at me with her pleading dark brown eyes! It was a sweet little Yorkie! I could not believe my eyes. I quickly called my mom who was in her room taking a nap, to show her our little surprise. We all burst out laughing, trying to figure out how in the world this little thing got in our fenced in yard. We brought her in side and began trying to figure out what we should do with her! Unfortunately, everything was closed so we would have to keep her at least till the next morning! To make a long story short we all fell in love with this little dog and would have loved to have kept her. But, surprisingly, we got in touch with the owners who lived quite a ways from us! The owners were so happy to get their little dog back and for us it was a mixture of emotions because we would have loved to have kept our new furry friend...

Just a Quick Question?

Benjamin and "Missa"

Sorry I've not been blogging as much as I usually do but I've been really busy! Hopefully all will get back to normal soon...

This past Thursday my little cousin Ben decided that he was going to stay the night! Little did I know I was going to be playing GI Joe's, hockey, a deep sea diver as he splashed me with what seemed to be half the tub of water, and that I also was going to have to share my twin bed with a very WILD sleeper! What a night I had trying to keep this very intelligent little boy busy!

One of the events that I got myself involved with was GI Joe's! Out of the kindness of Ben's heart, he allowed me to have some of the army boots and clothes. Little did I know that I was going to get the "not so nice army stuff" and Ben was going to get all the "cool accessories" as he would put it. If you take a closer look at this picture, you would see that Ben allowed me to have some boots for my GI Joe; to bad they were FIREMAN boots! LOL!!!! Also I got stuck with the hunting camouflage outfit instead of the army camouflage clothes!

In this park there is a huge area of bamboo, it was really neat. I felt like I was in the jungle!
