You Are Kermit

Hi, ho! Lovable and friendly, you get along well with everyone you know.

You're a big thinker, and sometimes you over think life's problems.

Don't worry - everyone knows it's not easy being green.

Just remember, time's fun when you're having flies!

Take the test and let me know who you got!!! Thanks~

Happy Birthday Maddie Girl!!!!!

Hugs and kisses,

Tonight after enjoying a delicious Italian feast, we were surprised to hear our wonderful friend the ice cream man singing down our street!!! My mom and I ran out our front door eager to enjoy what would probably be our last Mr. Softy of the season!!! What a wonderful end of our day...

Me and Justin had vanilla cones with rainbow sprinkles and mom had a vanilla cherry dip!!!

Today Justin and I decided to make some scratch brownies, which taste great if I do say so myself!!! We had alot of fun making them together. Justin's a great little baker, he was trained from the best!!! (Not really!) Well anyway, we enjoyed our rainy day inside and made a tasty treat to enjoy for dessert!!! Hope you all enjoyed your rainy day also!!!

Since I put this great tracking system on my blog, it has been so neat to see all the different places I get my viewers from. Some of the most daily views have come from Italy, Portugal, Canada, Paris, and of course my wonderful family and friends from New York and the rest of the U.S.A!!!!! Thank you so much for your interest in my life, for your encouraging comments and putting up with some of my crazy stories, it means soooo much to me!! Please continue to enjoy my blog and hopefully I'll have some great stories and pics to post over the weekend!!!!

Today as I was looking out our front door, I could not believe how many of our plants look like they are still in full bloom!!! I thought they look so pretty, but, on the same hand I thought it looked kinda funny with our pumpkins sitting on our front porch right beside them!!! Oh well, I guess the more color in our yard the better!!!

For those of you who know how much I love my hibiscus, you know how thrilled I was when I looked out my back door to see who was still blooming also!!!! Yup, he's still going at it!!!! YIPPEE!!!!

Happy Birthday to my dearest friend in the whole world! I am so thankful for our friendship and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. God has blessed my life in an extra special way by placing you in it!! I hope this day is filled with happiness and wonderful memories for you. I love you my dearest friend... Just think about it, this is your last "teen" birthday!!! WOW!

"You have been my friend.
That in itself is a tremendous
thing."

"It is one of the blessings of old
friends that you can afford to
be silly with them."

"Hold a true friend with both your hands."

"If you live to be 100, I hope
I live to be 100 minus 1 day,
so I never have to live a day
without you."

"Never shall I forget the days I spent with you. Continue to be my friend, as you will always find me yours."

"The rain may be falling hard outside,
But your smile makes it all alright.
I'm so glad that you're my friend,
I know our friendship will never end."
~Robert Alan~

I love you so much, Happy 19th Birthday!

I have been teaching piano lessons for about four years now. These are two of my newest students, Emma and Lexi! They are two of the sweetest, cutest, most energetic girls I know! I absolutely love teaching them!! They're both progressing very nicely and have both recently learned how to play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GIRLIES!!!!

I had to post this picture because it helps you to imagine the fun I have teaching these two!
Today I tried to make our very first caramel apples of the season! Well you'll see what happened!!

Once upon a time a girl named Melissa tried to make a batch of caramel apples. She followed the directions to the best of her ability...

She mixed together 8oz. of milk and 1 package of caramel mix...

She brought that up to a boil and then added 2 cups of sugar. Patiently she waited for it to come up to 240 degrees!!!

Then she let it cool for 10 minutes...

While she waited, she carefully placed 11 wooden sticks into 11 perfectly good Gala apples!
The best is yet to come...

She began to dip the apples into the caramel syrup and chopped nuts. But, the result was nothing but a sticky mess!! Oh well I guess I'll have to try again soon!!!! Any tips for making great caramel apples would be great! :)
Today was one of the busiest days in a while for me!!! It all started at 10:30 when my Aunt Amy picked me up to get my hair cut. From there I had to teach a brand new student piano lessons and then go teach for four more hours at Family Melody!!! (HELP!!) From there I went to accompany a choir for their Christmas cantata. Now I am home enjoying a delicious meal of spaghetti!!! This has made a long days work worth it all!!! Also, along the way we stopped at my Gram's house to have a sweet little surprise awaiting me! Two of my cute little cousins!!

Introducing "Alex" and "Ella Bella" !!!!!!!!

Today our church is off to the Roseland Ranch. I will not be posting until next Friday, hopefully I'll come back with some great pics and stories to tell. See y'all then!!!

One of the biggest fans...

Only three days and a wake up until Family Camp!!!! I am so excited to go I can hardly stand it. We are starting to prepare everything we need to take with us. What a fun week we have ahead of us. I am sure we are going to have a blast and build lots of memories together!
When it comes to sports I have to say that usually I am not up to date with the latest new. But, when it comes to hockey that's a little different!!! As we are about to embark on this great hockey season, I only have one thing to say ...

Lets Go New York RANGERS!!!!!!!!

Me and my family are hoping to be seeing a lot of this!

You're Right!!!

It's Mary Poppins!
I thought I would try this every Monday and see how it goes. I'll give five descriptions about a person, and lets see if you can guess who it is...We'll start off easy!

1. I am a female!
2. There was a book named after me!
3. I am a nanny!
4. I measure a person's character by a measuring tape!
5. I am Melissa's favorite Disney character!

Can you guess who I am...leave your answer in the comment box!!
